Dalit and Minority Rights

Dalits and minority groups continue to remain the most underprivileged class of Indian society: the stigma they face remains evident to this day. Dalits in general continue to survive under inhumane, degrading conditions. Inmates belonging to Dalit, or minority groups are unable to legally represent themselves and secure Justice due to the lack of financial resources to furnish surety bail bond.

The inmates belonging to Dalit and Minority groups were landless and destitute thus unable to legally represent themselves due to lack of financial resources. Our organisation identified and interacted to them and has provided free socio-legal aid to more than 300 Dalit and minority prisoners in availing personal recognizance bai bond who were unable to furnish surety bail bond.
